HISTORY OF PHYSICS MUSEUM

Museum of Physics is opened in the Institute of Solid State Physics at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. Theoretical and practical activities are made there.

Academician Milko Borissov is originator to documentary historical research of physics in Bulgaria. This activity carries on up to now.

    The significant role of chair on theoretical physics, created by Professor Georgi Maneff at the Sofia University, is investigated of late years.

    Laboratory of Academician George Nadjakov becomes museum in 1981. Some apparatus, books and documents are collected there.

    Today Museum has a reading-room and a small permanent exhibition. The Museum gives possibility to historical investigations on physics in Bulgaria. Old

physical apparatus, photographs and papers are sown there.
