Compact laser oscillator generating nanosecond impulses

Description:

The compact laser oscillator generates pulses with duration of several nanoseconds and energies above the one millijoule level, with high average power. It also has an exceptionally good beam quality, which makes it an excellent source for various amplifying schemes. In addition, the specific design of the oscillator assures not only a very compact size (the scheme can be fitted in a human hand), but also a great resistance towards misalignment of the resonator.
