Stackable 8 Input - 1 Output Video Multiplexer VMUX-8x1
The broadcast quality video multiplexer VMUX-8x1 performs the switching of 8 video sources to 1 video output. All 8 video inputs are available as video outputs too for transit transmission of the video signals in the case when the video multiplexer have to be placed in the signal path to the transmitting equipment. The VMUX-8x1 can be configured and controlled through a PC or workstation with the provided application software. A StartUp configuration can be stored in the on-board nonvolatile flash memory of the device. An unlimited number of devices can be stacked and controlled through a single workstation to form larger switching matrices of the type n x (8x1). The device can work in a circular mode, where the inputs are switched sequentially with a programmable switching period specified by the control software. So a video carrousel can be implemented. A circular mode with delay of the command retransmission between the stacked devices is available too. So video carrousels with switching effects can be realized.
VMUX-8x1 is mounted in a compact 19” metal chassis in universal 1RU modular frame for rack mounting or for stand alone application.
